Each diamond has either an IGI(International Gemologist Institute)  or GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certificate that ensures what you bought is what you receive. These institutions are strict and meticulous in rating every diamond that passes through them.

Cut – How sparkly it is
This is about how well the diamond was shaped. A great cut reflects light beautifully, making the diamond sparkle more. Even a high-quality diamond won’t shine without a good cut!

Color – How white it looks
Diamonds come in shades, and the less color, the better (unless you're going for a fancy color). The most valuable ones are bright white.

Clarity – How clean it is inside
Almost all diamonds have tiny natural marks (called inclusions). The fewer and smaller the marks, the clearer—and more valuable—the diamond.

Carat – How big it is
This measures weight, not just size. A higher carat usually means a larger diamond—but two diamonds of the same carat can look different depending on how they’re cut.
